falling in love?

I am apologizing to my dedicated readers for not updating my blog in a few weeks. I don’t really know why I haven’t. It might be partially because I decided to take my spring break early, and not really go to any classes the week before we got out for break. I also was really sick during that whole week. Is it cheesy to say that I fell in love over spring break? For me it is, because I don’t fall in love, and I don’t have usually have feelings for guys. If you know me you know I like to just keep my guard up, and have fun with no feelings attached whatsoever. I had the mentality if guys can be players why can’t I?

But everything changed when I went home for break. Remember how I told you that I was going to San Fransisco for my best friends birthday? Well it all started that weekend.  My best friend from LA also drove up and met us in the city with her four co workers. She had sort of hooked up wit one of them, and when I saw his Facebook I didn’t think he was that cute so I really wasn’t that interested.  I figured it was off limits. I later found out it wasn't off limits in fact my best friend was urging me to start seeing him. She thought together we looked like the best couple.

Of course the last two weeks before break I really could not get him our of my head. Then when I went home for break I was l literally with him the entire break. I had finally met a black guy that was different. It wasn't just something sexual and it wasn't just about "swag" and looks but i  loved his personality. He treats me right and treats me how i am supposed to be treated. FINALLY. He has a good job, and nice Mercedes, not that those things matter. But money does help. I cant deal with the whole EBT card well fare bullshit anymore. This was refreshing. He took me out every night and we partied together, and always bought me all my drinks. Which is the best. An all around just good person to go out with and have fun with. He liked hanging out with my friends, and I love his friends as well.

There's just one problem.... He's an ex Blood which is a gang for those of you who don't know. Hes completely tattooed from head to toe. My dad met him the other day at our house in Beverly Hills and didn't even mind the tattoos! This is what I mean when I say "Beverly Hills Collides with the Hood." You never know who Hayley is going to meet. The whole gang thing kind of worries me though. Even though he's on the right track now, there's always that chance that he could end up going back. I had a friend from San Luis Obispo today ask me what color bloods wear. Blue or Red?  Um is that a joke? It's really time for me to get out of Sonoma and back to the motherland.
